Please forgive the picture, I’m working on another one 🙂
I just can’t believe how long it’s been since I last did a Trendy Thursdays post…

This week’s book is…
The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
I would have done the Aussie cover but I much prefer the US edition…
Goodreads synopsis:
Book two of the dazzling Winner’s Trilogy is a fight to the death as Kestrel risks betrayal of country for love.
The engagement of Lady Kestrel to Valoria’s crown prince means one celebration after another. But to Kestrel it means living in a cage of her own making. As the wedding approaches, she aches to tell Arin the truth about her engagement…if she could only trust him. Yet can she even trust herself? For—unknown to Arin—Kestrel is becoming a skilled practitioner of deceit: an anonymous spy passing information to Herran, and close to uncovering a shocking secret.
As Arin enlists dangerous allies in the struggle to keep his country’s freedom, he can’t fight the suspicion that Kestrel knows more than she shows. In the end, it might not be a dagger in the dark that cuts him open, but the truth. And when that happens, Kestrel and Arin learn just how much their crimes will cost them.

Oh wow that hairstyle is so awesome! Is that a rose?! It looks freaking fantastic! Not that I’d ever have the patience to do it for myself tbh lol
It’s so pretty isn’t it?! Lol it would probably take me ten years to do 😛
Dare ya to do it 😉
Ah, all of these elements are so pretty! I especially like the dress. I would actually love it if I were a person who had cause to wear ball gowns. It’s one of the reasons I envy actresses and the such. They get to dress up ALL THE TIME, and I want to do that!
I agree that the UK cover (and the AUS cover by default) is not as pretty. The red is too bright
I would much prefer this blue cover!
