I am super excited to announce that I am posting an interview with Colet and Jasmine Abedi (C. J. Abedi)! This tour is run by Diversion Books: http://www.diversionbooks.com/ebooks/fae
Here’s some information about Fae if you haven’t come across it before now…
Fae by C. J. Abedi
The battle between Light and Dark is about to begin.
Caroline Ellis sixteenth birthday sets into motion a series of events that have been fated for centuries. A descendant of Virginia Dare, the first child born in the lost colony of Roanoke, and unaware of her birthright as the heir to the throne of the Light Fae, it isn’t until she begins a tumultuous relationship with Devilyn Reilly that the truth is revealed.
Devilyn is the only one of the Fae who is both of the Light and of the Dark, and struggles to maintain that precarious balance to avoid succumbing to the power of the Dark within him. He is the only one who can save Caroline from those who would destroy her and destroy all hope for unity among the Fae. He promises Caroline that he will protect her at all costs, even when it means protecting her from himself.
Told from the alternating perspectives of Caroline and Devilyn, FAE draws on mysteries, myths and legends to create a world, and a romance, dangerously poised between Light and Dark.

3. How long have you been writing?
Colet: Since I was 11.
Jasmine: I definitely developed a passion for it a little bit later in life. Probably around 18.
4. Do you listen to music while writing? If so, pick a theme song for Fae…
Colet: Yes. I can’t write without music.
Jasmine: It honestly depends on my mood. But I’m a BIG fan of music and really love all genres of music.
Toby Rand Song: Candle – we actually use it in the book.
5. Do you have a favorite quote?
Colet: “The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a Heaven of Hell, a Hell of Heaven.” – John Milton
Jasmine: “The two most important days in your life are the day you were born, and the day you find out why.” –Mark Twain
6. Any upcoming books?
FAE Book 2 & 3
7. What five items would you pick to take with you if an apocalypse was to suddenly strike?
Colet: My photo album. My dog, Famous. Quartz Crystal for good energy. A pack of pencils and a writing journal.
Jasmine: I’m not sure I would take anything but a lucky charm my mother gave me. I’d also definitely want my family with me.
8. Which do you prefer? Paperback, ebooks or hardback?
Colet: I wish I could be a traditionalist and say paperback, but I’m kind of addicted to reading now on my iPad.
Jasmine: Up until very recently I was a traditional girl. I had never even used my Kindle or ipad for reading. Now, I’ve sadly crossed over…although there is nothing more beautiful than an old book.
9. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself about writing?
Colet: Stay on track and NEVER doubt yourself. NO REGRETS. NO GUILT. JUST BELIEVE. You will get there.
Jasmine: Don’t let fear of the unknown guide you. Just do it.
